Brian, Colin and I headed up Camas Creek for the day and found some amazing skiing on south facing slopes. We were easily distracted by the Ward Mountain detour couloir and booted up it and then onto the summit of Ward Mountain. Skiing nice open glades back down to Camas Lake was a great run with the south face holding nice preserved powder on the partly cloudy day. We kept heading up the drainage and topped out on Camas Peak 2 for lack of a better name and skied an amazing, long, peak to creek down into the North Fork of Lost Horse Canyon. The skin back up to the summit took awhile but we made it to the summit of Camas Peak by 5:15 and skied swiftly back to the car via the northeast face and then down into Camas Creek and out the fast trail. An amazing day of good snow, decent weather, 9700′ vertical,  and excellent ski lines with great partners. What fun to go to a familiar place and ski entirely new terrain. Thanks again to Colin for the great photos from today.
