Fall colours and hikes

With a fantastic slow fall, the autumn colors have been peaking for the passed couple weeks starting in the subalpine with the larch and huckleberry and progressing down the mountains into the understory and now to the western larch. It has been a beautiful fall for getting outside. Last nights rain in the valley left the mountains heavily frosted with an accumulation of snow, when will the next dump come?
